The first spritz has a spicy kick, thanks to black pepper oil, but longer wear reveals the increasingly provocative combo of skin scent-mimicking ambroxan, leather, and creamy sandalwood. I’ve been testing the six scents myself for weeks, desperately tracking my every thought and feeling after each spritz, searching for some dramatic link between the bottle and my emotions. I can’t find much of a connection beyond just enjoying the fragrances themselves, particularly Magic Energy, which includes delightful earthy notes of cypress, bergamot, and palo santo. But perhaps half—or more—of the experience is really about simply zeroing in on your emotions and maybe even manifesting a bit, allowing mental space for you to embrace more love or calmness or “magical energy” after putting the scent on.
